EVENT HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK

Killian Sundermann: Killian Dollar Baby
Saturday 16 May · 19:30 · Monroe's
After a sellout UK and Ireland tour in 2025 and a full run at Edinburgh, Killian Sundermann is back with a new show. He has half a million followers online, a regular presence on RTÉ and Virgin Media, and the kind of momentum that suggests Monroe's will be full. The show is called Killian Dollar Baby.
Neil Delamere: Reinventing the Neil
Thursday 14 May · 20:00 · Town Hall Theatre
One of Ireland's sharpest stand-ups with a track record of smart, well-observed material and a natural ease in a room. Reinventing the Neil is his current touring show, with dates across Britain and Ireland through May. Town Hall Theatre is the right scale for this: close enough to feel conversational, enough seats to make it an event.
University of Tennessee Chattanooga Chamber Singers
Tuesday 12 May · 13:00 · St Nicholas' Collegiate Church
A free lunchtime concert from the UTC Chamber Singers, an American university choir on an international tour. The programme runs from 14th-century sacred music through to Irish composers and spirituals, chosen to connect with the medieval church setting. An hour of good music in one of Galway's finest rooms, at no cost. Worth the detour.
Luke Combs UK
Thursday 14 May · 20:30 · Roisin Dubh
The Luke Combs tribute act, endorsed by Combs himself and his management team, brings the country sound to the Roisin Dubh for an over-18s standing show. A Thursday night option for fans of the real thing.

Let It Be: The Music of The Beatles
Friday 15 May · 20:00 · Monroe's
Beatles tribute at Monroe's on Friday night. Classic hits in a room that suits it.
Red Line Comedy Club: 1st Birthday Show
Thursday 14 May · 20:00 · Busker Brownes
The Red Line Comedy Club turns one and is marking it with a birthday show at Busker Brownes. Special guests TBC.
Surrounded by Stone

An exhibition exploring the history and significance of stone in Galway's culture and heritage. Free to visit at Galway City Museum.

Mary Robinson
Monday 18 May · 20:00 · Town Hall Theatre
A film about Mary Robinson, Ireland's first female president, and her work for justice and equality. At Town Hall Theatre the week after this one.
Live Portrait Sketching: Sketch or Be Sketched
Saturday 16 May · 12:00 · Galway City Museum
National Drawing Day at Galway City Museum, with a relaxed open portrait session for all skill levels. Free to attend.
Bike Week 2026: Spin and Yoga

Free community spin classes and yoga sessions at Salthill Park as part of county-wide Bike Week. A good Wednesday morning reason to be outside.
